Vintage Solid Wood Display Shelf – Gdc – and similar items

Offered here is this Vintage Solid Wood Display Shelf. The shelf could be used for books; however, it has vertical dividers in it that would make it truly ideal for display art pieces, or for use as a shoe shelf in a mud room. I am unsure of the age or origins of the shelf. It is made of solid wood with slim wood vertical dividers and backing. There is a good amount of wear to the finish, from general use, but there are no splits or cracks. The shelf should clean up beautifully. There are some light surface scratches on the finish. There are some areas at the sides towards the bottom where there is some light damage to the finish, and slight veneer loss in these areas. These can be seen in the photos. There is also what looks like some dried mud on one of the sides towards the bottom. The shelf is 34.5” tall, 33” wide, 12” deep, and each cubby is 10” wide, and 13” high. This is a genuinely nice display shelf, free standing. It would be a nice art display or shoe cubby in a mudroom or closet. It is a nice, versatile, useful household shelf.
