I purchased this glass as a gift for my daughter's grandfather who loves German stines, glasses pins etc. He specifically asked for Augststiner for his birthday as he really likes that beer. I was very pleased with this purchase as it had the best dates turn around, was well packaged and reasonably priced. He was happy with his present so in turn we were happy to get him what he wanted. I don't know much about the materials because I only opened it long enough to make sure it was what we ordered and then I wrapped it back up. It was a simple glass but I'm sure it will be displayed more than used.

Glasses are attractive in their design and appearance. Altbier glasses are hard to find in the U.S, As a beer glass collector, these are a great addition to my collection. As a homebrewer, my guests and I can enjoy my Altbier served in authentic glasses.

The mug was in great condition.
