A prong on the resister had been broken during packaging. It was easily soldered back together and worked fine after that. They refunded half of the money for the inconvenience and offered a replacement of the repair didn’t work.

I have a 2011 Panasonic TC-P50S30 plasma TV that blew some mosfets on the SC board (common failure mode). I like my plasma and didn't want to chuck it in the landfill, so I found a replacement SC board online and installed it. It is back in operation for now I hope to get a few more years out of it.
