Vintage original 27x41 in. US one-sheet poster from the 1950's mystery/adventure drama, JAGUAR, released in 1956 by Republic Pictures. The image is dominated by artwork depicting a large image of the film's star, Sabu, running through a jungle as he is pursued by a jaguar along with a scene of him defending himself and another person on a raft with a spear. The film's love interest, Chiquita Johnson, is featured in the lower left corner. The film's title in rendered in the spotted pattern of a jaguar. Folded as originally issued, this vintage original one-sheet poster is unrestored in fine- condition with corner pinholes; random small tears and creases on the borders; and two 2 in. vertical tears on the center horizontal foldline on either side of the smaller image of Sabu. The color tints are fresh and vibrant without any signs of fading.
