This is the Leather Hard Bound Book of Peterson's Magazine (Vol. 38) Published between the Months of July - December of 1860 and the Magazine has alot of engravings and patterns and embroidery and poems and fashion - it was an American Women's Magazine from that time period. LOTS of interesting things in this book. The binding is good and the book is standard measuring approx 9 3/4" x 6 1/2". Some normal wear along edges and also some yellowing inside of book on some of the pages from age but all intact. There are a few tears on a few pages but overall in very good condition - and it doesn't smell of mildew as so many books from this period sometimes do. I am not certain but I think this may have been the size of the original magazine as there are a series of uniform puncture holes near the back - binding of each page you can see if you open the book wide enough that look like they were originally part of how the magazines were bound. 490 pages. sale TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Please email me with any questions.
