1934 Vintage Postcard QSL Card Opr W9PSW 1 cent Fort Dearborn Centennial stamp Postmarked in Harvey ILL., on April 14 1934 this classic QSL Card features the Amateur Radio Call letters centered on the front of the card, with handwritten information and a personal handwritten message from the sender "Edwin Stevenson" that simply reads: "sorry I lost u". The "time" written on the card was at 12:01 am, in the morning, as Whitey often stayed up late to talk to his friends across the pond, in different time zones. CONDITION: Fairly good condition. No pin holes, tears or creases. One small ding across the top edge. Although the corners show some signs of wear, all corners are intact. There is slight smudging along the bottom front edge and the side. The postmark is clear, not smeared or smudges and readable. The 1 cent Chicago Century of Progress Fort Dearborn Centennial postage stamp, applied upside-down is undamaged, although is dirty around the perforation marks. *********** Hello there, thank you for stopping by to look at my items!.
