Claritin can also be used to relieve the symptoms of urticaria (itching, redness and to reduce the number and size of hives). The effects of Claritin last throughout the day and should help you return to your normal daily activities and sleep. Application: The recommended dose is: Adults and children over 6 years of age with a body weight over 30 kg: One tablet once a day with a glass of water, with or without food. Claritin 10 mg tablets are not suitable for children under 6 years of age or weighing less than 30 kg. Claritin is not recommended for children under 2 years of age.
