This item is approximately (65) 6mm Cherry "Quartz" Glass Faceted Round Beads. Holes are center drilled as can be seen in the photo. Ours are a little lighter pink in person than in the photo above. Hole size in all of them is approximately 1-1.5mm. For years, jewelry makers were led to believe that cherry quartz was a naturally occurring gemstone. It turns out that this pretty pink "gemstone" is in fact not naturally occurring at all. It is simply glass that was made to look like a gemstone. Although the terms "cherry quartz" and "strawberry quartz" are often used interchangeably in the jewelry trade, the vast majority of items sold as both Cherry Strawberry "quartz", are in fact the man-made glass "gemstone."
