The frame has applied leaves and wire work. The glass measures about 7/8" diameter and can be used for a photo. Originally, maybe it held a sentimental memento like a lock of hair or souvenir keepsake such as dried flowers. There are English "9ct" hallmarks on the bottom of the frame. The pendant with bail measures 1 1/2" long and a little over 1 1/8" wide and includes a vintage 10k yellow gold chain measuring 16.5". The necklace weighs 4.68 dwt., and dates from the 1890s.
