Designed with an eye on each end of 4' length of Kernmantle line that may be hitched to a saw handle. The eyes are fastened by means of a swage that will part at 160 lb. pull. The purpose of this lanyard is to keep the saw attached to the climber to prevent accidental loss when climbing, yet it is long enough to allow complete freedom of movement when cutting and, if the saw is dropped, it falls below the level of the climber's feet.
