I am pleased to offer this fabulous antique Foo dog or Bull statue or box from China, that appears to be made from the late 19th century.It is 5.5 inches tall at the horn and 7 inches nose to tail. Very good condition with no chips or cracks. The back can be lift to reveal a compartment. It appears to be copper base with gilt over. Very lovely blue green, red, yellow and turquoise enamel in auspicious pattern. aged patina observed inside the vessel and there are gilt loss that reveals copper base on the feet.
