Descripción del Artículo

This is an antique Eaguchi silver spoon marked on the back with the maker name and mark. The vintage spoon doesn't bear a sterling mark although other pieces on line are identified as such, it could be sterling or a silver alloy. I have tried to research this maker and have found the country of origin likely to be Japan but without a maker date range. The maker name is written in English characters, which was primarily done after 1921. The spoon was inherited over 40 years ago from a family that lived in Japan in the years prior to WWII so best guess for a date range would be as early as the 1930s to as late as the 1950s. As with all the other questions about this spoon, type could be baby, coffee, demitasse, jelly mustard or souvenir spoon. Please let me know if you have any insight! It measures about 4.5" long and is in lovely condition. For more information: https://194crafthouse.com/45-different-types-of-spoons-and-their-use-with-pictures/
