Phenomenal artistic 14K gold vintage brooch with pearls and jade or jadeite drops depicting a flower petal. This is one of those rare finds that every time you look at it, you see something else you had not noticed before. There are a total 35 pearls and 8 jade pearls mixed into this brooch. The entire brooch itself weighs 12.6 grams. Clearly marked A (probably maker's mark but we have been unable to locate that exact mark) and 14K on back (see photos) and we have also done a scratch acid test to confirm. Please also note comparison to a US Quarter so you understand the size. Brooch is 33 mm in diameter. Clasp is in good shape and holds to pin tightly. We believe this pin to be mid century but there is certain detail that has us wondering if its not older.
