The item is made of metal with a silverplated finish. The napkin ring has a decorative design that has two butterflies sitting on a fan with an Aesthetic Movement Victorian era design (see photos). The item retains most of it's silver plated finish. The item has tarnish and it is in need of polishing (see photos). The item is from an estate liquidation (see photos). The item is marked by the maker: MERIDEN 209 (see photos). The item measures in total about 2.75 inches high, it is about 4.25 inches wide from end to end on the fan including the handle. The napkin ring opening measures about 1.5 inches wide. The item has some minimal wear and it is need of polishing (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item).
