The earrings are yellow gold, but the diamond area has what looks like a very light darkened finish, as well as some patina. This gives the diamonds a brighter pop. Victorian diamond jewelry was typically made with a layer of silver on top, but not this pair of earrings. The earrings are centrally prong-set with 2 OLD MINE CUT DIAMONDS of I-J color, SI1 SI2 clarity that weigh approx. 58 ctw. The earrings are also set with 20 ROSE CUT DIAMONDS that weigh approx. .32 ctw. The total diamond weight is approx. .90 ctw.
