Offered here is this Wonderful Antique All Wood Steamer Trunk. It is lined with paper inside and is in good condition for such an old trunk. The outer dark green paper covering as well as the black trim and metal accent pieces are all intact for the most part. There are a few small tears in the outer paper covering. There is a good bit of wear to the inside paper covering, particularly at the edges and joints. The leather handles at each end are intact, as is the locking mechanism, although it is dysfunctional and does not lock or fit together properly. This is the type of trunk that would usually have an insert that sets inside on the top. This is evidenced by the little ledges at the inside of the trunk at the top, however, there is no tray present with it now. This is a very nice antique steamer trunk. It is very dusty and needs a good cleaning. The trunk is 13" tall, 36" long, 21" wide, and about 9.5" deep. With some cleaning and a little TLC, it will be a wonderful trunk for storage, as well as a great decorative piece. What a great find!
