The GLA content in Black Currant Oil is up to 20%. After our Black Currant Oil is refined, the result is a clear honey colored oil with a bland odor and taste. Black currant Seed Oil is rich in gamma-linolenic acid, an important ingredient for maintaining the elasticity of the skin. Some individuals are not able to convert linoleic acid into necessary gamma-linolenic acid. Gamma-linolenic acid is not common to many oils. Black currant Seed Oil contains up to 20% GLA.
