Descripción del Artículo

About the item: Graded NM/Mint! Signed by hand by cover and interior inker Joe Sinnott, this trading card is JSA authenticated and certified through CGC with a card grade of 8. It is from the Marvel: The Silver Age trading card set released by SkyBox in 1998. Fresh from CGC, it will be shipped with the utmost care. About the artist: Best known for his long work on The Fantastic Four (from 1965 until 1981 and with a brief return in the late 1980?s) artist and inker Joe Sinnott (1926 ? 2020) was one of Marvel?s most in-demand inkers. Of Sinnott, Stan Lee once said that ?to most pencilers, having Joe Sinnott ink their artwork was tantamount to grabbing the brass ring.? Present at key points during the Silver Age, some of Sinnott?s career highlights include his work on The Fantastic Four, including the landmark FF issues introducing Galactus and the Silver Surfer (he later went on to work in the Surfer?s own title) as well as his work on Thor, Avengers, Captain America and, during the 1980?s, the FF spinoff series, The Thing. Though primarily an inker, Sinnott?s pencil work is no less impressive. He has won two Alley Awards and an Inkpot Award. In 2008, Sinnott was both the recipient and the namesake of the Inkwell Awards Hall of Fame Award, the Joe Sinnott Award.
