It's made to look like a weathered and distressed (i.e. OLD) cast iron wall plaque. But it doesn't cost NEARLY as much. It is solid cast iron. You can mount it indoor OR out. Has built-in mounting holes on EACH side (screws not included). Make sure you pay attention when buying one of these. There are some people selling them for less but it's because they are SMALLER. Nothing wrong with that. I simply mention it because they all look about the same size in the pictures so it can be a little confusing. THIS sign is 9 1/2 inches WIDE, 5 1/4 inches tall.
