This is a vintage SAUTOIR or OPEN NECKLACE!
A sautoir necklace is one with no clasp, it is a length of chain usually with some sort of embellishments on the two ends.
It can be worn in many different ways, similar to how one would wear a neck scarf.
A thin silvertone metal chain makes up this vintage Necklace. At each end is a clear glass bead that is cut to look both square and round. The edges are frosted from the cuts.
