This is a wonderful Vintage Dear Santa Musical Holiday Home Decoration from Christmas Family and battery operated, requiring 2 C batteries. Works perfectly! Made in China, was bought at Sears Robuck Co in 1990. He is a piece from my Grandmother's estate collection. He sits on a square platform that is 7x7. He is aprox. 12-1/2" tall and has an on/off volume knob on the back. The batteries are easily accessible with a sliding door. He play multiple Christmas songs and the tune and sound is still excellent. It is in Mint condition and has never been used. He has been in his box since my Grandmother got him. Santa is sitting in his workshop office making out his Christmas list of who is naughty and who is nice, with the list of names sitting on the table beside him by the candle, with a stack of letters next to him. The letters and list are all made of paper and are very realistic. He has a basket of letters at his feet also and a cloth bag of reindeer feed beside him. His suit is red velvet and his curly hair and beard feel and look real. He would make an excellent gift for someone this Christmas, or a fantastic addition to your own vintage decoration collection to help decorate your home for the holidays while enjoying some of Santa's Christmas tunes anywhere in the house.
