Descripción del Artículo

Product Description: Photography has entered the digital zone, creating an exciting new approach to image-making for professionals, artists and hobbyists alike. A clear, jargon-free approach to the subject, the Digital Photography Handbook gives readers a working understanding of the equipment, software and techniques they need to take advantage of this versatile medium. More than 50 creative techniques are explained step by step, including: basic adjustments to the image such as correcting contrast, removing red-eye and flipping the image; advanced special effects such as transparency effects, blur techniques and creating duotones; and how to use Photoshop, Freehand and other software and plug-ins in conjunction with digital photos. About the Author: For more than a decade, Tim Daly MA (RCA) has successfully exhibited his photographs in solo and group exhibitions in Great Britain, Germany, and South Korea. He has completed commissions for The British Library and The Photographers' Gallery, London, and his documentary work has been purchased for collections at The British Library, The Museum of London and the Historic Photography Archive-one of the leading collections of documentary photography in Europe. Commercially, Tim has worked for dozens of blue chip clients, including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, The National Art Collections Fund, Nestle, and Pearse Museum, Dublin. Currently, Tim is a regular contributor to the British Journal of Photography on Digital Imaging Techniques, and is Course Director for the Photomedia program at Nescot College, Surrey.
