In this book, Dr. York breaks down some basic facts about the religion of Islam and how it relates to Jesus and Christianity. Here are some of the basic facts Dr. York points out. When the Prophet Muhammad received his revelation, he was directed by his first wife Khadiyjah to go to her uncle, often called her cousin, named Waraqa Bin Naufal. Waraqa directed Prophet Muhammad in what he was experiencing. Waraqa was a Christian. This is what Dr. York says about this: ?If a Christian told Muhammad that he was God?s prophet and this Christian never converted to the Islamic religion, then he held fast to his belief that ?Jesus was God who came down into human form? (John 1:14). He must have taught this belief to Muhammad.? This is an important point. This is common Islamic history and it is fully known that Waraqa NEVER converted to Islam. Dr. York points out so much more in the book but I would like to cover another important fact. The Islamic world refers to the Prophet Muhammad as the Comforter that Jesus says he would send. Jesus says in John 16:7: ?Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.? So if the Prophet Muhammad was the Comforter, who sent the Prophet Muhammad? Allah, right? Well, Jesus says ?he? will send the Comforter. So if Jesus sent the Comforter and the Comforter was the Prophet Muhammad then Jesus must be Allah since Allah sent the Prophet Muhammad according to Islam! If you read the Koran, you will see that it exalts Jesus more than it exalts the Prophet Muhammad. And Jesus is called the word of Allah, the soul of Allah. There is even a chapter in the Koran named after Jesus? mother. But don?t believe me, check it out for yourself. Get the book and you will see how Dr. York points out this fact in an overwhelming way. He makes it very clear that Jesus is the God of the Koran.
