Preparation This package contains: 250 g baking mix for the dough, 115 g topping mix, 50 g cinnamon sugar. You will also need: a springform pan (O 26 cm), e.g., Dr. Oetker a little fat Just add: 50g soft margarine or butter 1 egg (size M) 5 large apples (about 1.1kg, e.g. Cox Orange, Elstar) 600g whipping cream 1 Preparation and preparing the dough Grease the base of the springform pan. Preheat the oven. Top/bottom heat: about 170C Fan oven: about 150C Put the baking mix for the dough into a mixing bowl, add the margarine or butter and egg. Knead everything with a mixer (dough hook) on the highest speed for about 2 minutes, remove from the bowl and knead on the work surface until you have a smooth dough. Roll out 2/3 of the dough on the base of the springform pan. Shape the remaining dough into a roll, place it on the base as the edge, and press it onto the pan to create a 2cm high edge. 2 Prepare the topping Peel the apples, core them with an apple corer, halve them horizontally and place them cut-side down in the dish. Fill any remaining apple pieces in the dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon and decorative sugar. Mix the topping mixture with 100g of the cream until smooth. Bring the remaining cream to a boil, then remove from the heat. Add the mixed mixture with a whisk, stirring constantly, cook for another 30 minutes and immediately spread it over the apples. 3 Bake Place the dish on the rack in the oven. Insertion: bottom Baking time: approx. 60 minutes Immediately after baking, carefully loosen any baked-on topping from the side of the springform pan. Leave the cake in the dish in the switched off oven for another 5 minutes. Allow the cake to cool on a wire rack for at least 2 hours.
