Descripción del Artículo

Clusters of creamy white pom pom shape flowers are light pink at first, are held in large, slightly hanging clusters and have a delicate primrose fragrance. They are produced quite late in the season, around mid-July. Almost evergreen; it forms a dense mass of small, dark, neat foliage. A vigorous plant, we never spray or fertilize. It is a Rambler/climber and needs a wall or staking. The item is shown in the first photo. You will receive a bare-rooted plant, a pot, and soil not provided. Organically grown in CA, USA. HELPMEFIND.COM describes this fine rose as such: Felicite-Perpetue Lily Ito Seven Sisters (Hybrid Sempervirens, Jacques 1827) White, near white, or white blend Hybrid Sempervirens. Bred by Antoine A. Jacques (France, 1827). Hybrid Sempervirens, Rambler. Light pink, ages to white. Strong, musk fragrance. Average diameter 1.5". Medium, very full (41+ petals), cluster-flowered, in large clusters, button-eye, cupped-to-flat, expanded, globular, rosette bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer. Armed with thorns/prickles, climbing, compact. Small, glossy, medium green foliage. 5 to 7 leaflets. Height: 15' to 20' (455 to 610cm). Width: 10' to 12' (305 to 365cm). USDA zone 6b through 10b. Can be used for cut flowers, garden, or pillar. Hardy. Very vigorous. Shade tolerant. Disease susceptibility: susceptible to Mildew. Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood.. Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection). Resist the urge to prune this rose too heavily -- it doesn't like it!. Rosa sempervirens L. Noisette (china) Parentage unsure, see References. One of the Roses that "passed the test" in Longwood Gardens' Ten-Year Rose Trials. You may have damage to the leaves during shipping - this is normal and only cosmetic - new leaves will grow quickly with proper care. We do our best to package your plant with care to cause minimal or hopefully no damage to its leaves damage it, but it happens. It is important to read all the information about this plant to understand the approximate size. Some varieties of roses are susceptible to black spot or mildew, and some are not. This is mainly cosmetic in nature, and once the rose is planted and goes through a short term of transplant shock, the plant will recover and sprout out new, fresh leaves, provided the plant is treated with care. WE DELIVER WITHOUT POTS, bare root, wrapped in wet padding, and placed in a plastic bag, ensuring the roots arrive wet and vibrant. We send receiving and planting instructions with every order. There is always some stress from traveling, but plants are very hardy.
