French Gilt Repousse Trinket Box High Relief Made in France Blue Enamel Border. This is a small jewelry casket/trinket box that is reminiscent of the French Gilt movement. It features an iconic blue enamel border around the relief. There is no maker but all of these elements make me confident in saying this is late 18th or early 19th century trinket box and may have been used as a snuff box.
