Bromelain is the name given to a group of enzymes found within pineapple juice and pineapple stems. These enzymes can digest protein, this is why the strength of bromelain is described by its ability to digest the protein gelatine. Our Ginger, Turmeric Bromelain contains 100mg of Bromelain with a strength of 2000 Gelatine Digesting Units or GDU?s per gram.
