Second Terran Trade Authority Book Sci-fi Oil Paintings A classic Sci-Fi art book from 1979. The only other things like it are the other books in the same series. Many kids (mostly boys I bet) got this book after Star Wars, including myself. This would make the perfect gift for someone who has lost theirs or never had it ... Or, just get it for yourself! This is the second book in the TTA (Terran Trade Authority) series of sci-fi books, and is hard to find! This book is in good to very condition and complete, with some flaws mentioned here. It has it's dust jacket, which shows some wear along the edges but no major tears. Inside there are 2 stickers from someone's private library, one inside the cover and one on the page just before the title page. The pages themselves are very good and are no missing pages or any writing inside, and all of the great artwork and exciting text is in there! See my photos of the front and back of the book as well, plus several randomly selected pages with some of of the wonderful illustrations. The artists in this book made their spaceships the old fashioned way ... with oil on canvas! No computer graphics here ... It describes a series of futuristic space wars with wonderful color paintings to go along with the story lines. Some of the best artwork is by the late Peter Elson.
