Guillermo Heiter Venezuelan Artist Large Framed Oil Painting "Venderdor De Jaulit" Signed Venezuela Guillermo Heiter (1915-1971) was born in Czechoslovakia and then a Venezuelan citizen. After completing his training at the School of Applied Art and the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, he joined the Studio Rotter as teacher and art director. In 1939 he opened his own studio and art school, the Atelier Heiter, in Prague, but was arrested two years later and sent to a Nazi concentration camp. He emigrated to Venezuela in 1948, starting first as a freelance artist and later establishing his own Estudio Heiter in Caracas. In 1953 he joined the advertising agency Corpa, affiliated with the London firm of Colman, Prentis and Varley, as art director and designer. He then worked as a freelance artist. Several one-man exhibitions of his paintings have been held in Venezuelan galleries as well as museums. The oil painting measures 22 1/8" wide and 40" tall. Overall measures 25 7/8" wide, 1 3/8" deep and 43 3/4" tall.
