Hard back one volume edition, which is not commonly found in the first edition.
This book is in very good condition with unmarked pages, hinges sound and profusely illustrated with photographs and technical drawings. There is a three section fold-out on page 290 of a Beardmore Tornado Engine.
The book is overall in nice condition with light surface wear to covers and corners. Spine imprint is gold and shows clearly.
There is a light blue ink name and 1934 date and place written on the front free fly leaf (please see the photo).
A classic work on these type of engines.
