Compound
1 ml of solution contains 50 mg of iodine (Iodum).
Usage
An alcohol solution of iodine 5% is used externally. For adolescents over 12 years of age, adults and the elderly, an alcohol solution of iodine 5% is used to disinfect the skin and treat the surgical area. Experience with children under 12 years of age is limited.
