Descripción del Artículo

Title: The Lord's Prayer Artist: Albert Hay Malotte / Josephine Forsyth Publisher: Both published by G. Schirmer, Inc. Copyright/Release Date: 1935 / 1929 Condition: Very Good / Good Comments: Albert Hay Malotte (May 19, 1895 - November 16, 1964) was an American pianist, organist, composer and educator, best known for his musical setting of "The Lord's Prayer". Josephine Forsyth Myers (c. 1890-24 May 1940) was a Cleveland singer, composer, and musical patron. She received vocal training from Marcella Sembrich and former Clevelander Rita Elandi. She composed and sang a musical setting of The Lords Prayer for her marriage to pump manufacturer Philip A. Myers of Ashland, Ohio in 1924. The musical setting achieved international popularity, from the Easter Sunrise Service in Hollywood Bowl to the 1938 Wales Eisteddfod.
