This is an electronic control unit (ECU, "brain box") for a Motorola IHF1000 bluetooth handsfree carkit - part number TIH1K06051. This ECU features the 32pin connector and is for the earlier versions of the IHF carkit. It interfaces to the same buttons and microphone as all IHF carkits, though (early or late ECU style). The Electronic Control Unit "blue box" is about 4x6 inches, as opposed to the later style of IHF1000/1500/1700 ECU which is 2x6inches with an 18pin connector. Use this ECU to replace a damaged one in your vehicle, or to start fresh on an install to move your IHF bluetooth carkit into another vehicle. I also have 32pin Z01 and Z02 IHF interface harnesses for this IHF1000 ECU that could be used for a fresh installation (see the other items in my booth). The Hardware version of this ECU is HW: 06, and the Software version is SW: 05 .
