It was first issued in 2012 to honor his 22nd Presidency term. And then it was also issued in 2014 to honor his second term as U.S. President. He is the only President to appear in two different Presidential Dollar coins. The 2014 Grover Cleveland Presidential Dollar design was officially issued on November 15, 2015. The coins were not released into circulation but instead were sold to the public directly from the U.S. Mint in 25 coin rolls, 100 coin bags, 250 coin boxes or 500 coin boxes. Most coins were struck well and finding examples up to MS67 should not be very difficult. Examples in MS68 and higher are much tougher to find. This is the fourth and final design of 2012 for the Presidential Dollar coin series. interestingly, the Grover Cleveland Dollar was also issued earlier this year but with different years on the obverse design representing Clevelands two different terms in office. Grover Cleveland served two different terms as the United States President, therefore, two different Cleveland Presidential Dollar coins were issued by the U.S. Mint. The first coin struck with Grover Cleveland's portrait had the dual dates of 1885-1889 as well as 22nd President inscribed on the coins design. The second coin issued later in 2012 had the dual dates 1893-1897 and 24th President inscribed on the coin. Most coins came in very nice quality ranging from about MS63-MS65 grade more or less. Examples in MS66 condition or higher proved a little scarcer, yet obtainable with enough searching. In MS67 condition or higher, they were much tougher to find.
