VERY NICE Rare UTU (united Transportation Union)
Purchased at an estate sale of a retired UTU employee. He had a collection of railroad items including this lighter.
The United Transportaion Union (UTU) was a broad-base, transportation labor union that represented about 70,000 retired railroad, bus, amass transit, and airline workers in the United States.
The bottom of the lighter states ////zippo/// dating it to 1967.
Condition: Lighter is in mint condition. Still has its original box and papers. Although it appears that the flint has been struck, I dont believe it has ever been fired as there are no flame marks and the wick is bright white. Lighter will need fluid and flint. SEE PICTURES.
