This young man deserves to be proudly displayed!
1800's photo of a prestigious young man. Very rare to find a photo of a black man back in the 1800's.....especially of this size.....not to mention his very expensive suit and gold filled pocket watch!
I wish I had more information on this photo. Purchased at an estate sale out of Lancaster Ohio.
NOT A SMALL TINTYPE OR A SMALL CABINET CARD.
CONDITION: Signs of age on photo as seen in pictures. This is an 1800's antique and has wear. Looks like the photo is attached to some cardboard which is probably cardboard backing from the original picture frame. The rear frame hook is on the side but I am assuming you will move the photo to a more suitable frame. SEE PICTURES.
It will be protected well and insured.
