RARE and from an estate sale... Vintage STORE PIPE WALL DISPLAY. It will hold a total of 12 pipes in circular shape. From looking at the star design I believe this was made in the 1950's or maybe early 1960's. Marked in great font "THE STARS MEAN QUALITY" "PIPES BY LEE". It also has a numbered star for the pipe quality that was in the display. It is 15" in diameter and protrudes 3" from a wall. There is a hook on the back for hanging behind a store counter, etc. The back piece is made of wood and the covering is plastic. Condition: The wood back is in great condition with no scratched or cracks. The red text and gold stars are still nice and bright. The plastic cover has a crack by the screw and one on the bottom back. Neither affect how it hangs or its strength and are hard to see. It will be protected well and insured.
