Descripción del Artículo

TLC Balm by Jewel Soap comes in an amber glass jar. This is an all natural balm used to bring relief to many and various topical issues. At times it will with topical application also bring relief to deeper issues! This all natural soothing balm was formulated with common scrapes and bruises in mind, but it has been used for a wide variety of issues: eczema, psoriasis, bed sores, diaper rash, burns, cauliflower ear, etc. Sometimes folks ask me if this is a lip balm. I think it would be great for lips except for one thing- it tastes bad! Ingredients: Oils of Castor, Sesame and Neem, Beeswax, Borage Oil, Vitamin E, Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils of Lavender and Geranium, Tsuga Canadensis Essential Oil, and Calendula So with all the wonderful healing plant products available how did I ever decide to use these ingredients? I was searching for the "best with a reasonable price". After doing a lot of reading and finding the following information this is what I felt led to create. As folks tried it for different issues and came back with their testimonies I realized I could not casually change the recipe. In no way can I promise what TLC Balm will do for you or anyone else but here is the information I found about the various ingredients, which convinced me to use them- Castor - absorbed very quickly and when other ingredients (good or bad) are mixed with it they also are absorbed very quickly (this is my "quick transportation") Sesame Oil - wonderful rich in nutrients for skin, Vitamins A and E, essential proteins Neem - antiseptic, antifungal, antibacterial, antiviral, for rash, psoriasis, eczema, burns, acne Beeswax - a natural thickener Borage - essential fatty acids, inhibit bacterial growth and encourage antibodies Vitamin E - prevent scarring and spoilage Lavender - cleansing (and you might add a whole list of other properties) Geranium - ability to revitalize tissue Tsuga Canadensis - wounds and sores Calendula - regenerative, anti-inflammatory, promotes healing of wounds, burns, and tissue The calendula I grow myself and infuse the flowers in the castor oil. When I first made the TLC Balm I wanted to try it out and see if it actually works. But fortunately I was not getting hurt at the time! It wasn't long though until one of my goats chased another goat, Pansy Belle, out of the barn. Pansy Belle got caught on an ugly piece of fencing and ripped a hole in her hide! I felt badly about it but it was a neat cut about 1.5 - 2 inches long. I sprayed it with lavender oil and generously coated it with TLC Balm. I was so impressed, how quickly the edges adhered to each other, preventing dirt from entering and then it healed so nicely that I was not able to find the spot anymore. July of 2010 I had opportunity to test the balm on myself. Moments after turning off the burner on the flat top range I tripped, my right palm landing smack on the burner. It was instantly fried - like chicken skin-tight and leathery, going on crisp. Many may say I treated it entirely wrong, but I was not familiar with treating burns and just did the best we knew. I used a lot of high quality lavender oil and other essential oils on it and kept it well coated with TLC Balm to keep it hydrated and help it heal. The first day my hand was too burning hot to remove it from the ice pack. Thankfully the heat left the first night and by the next morning it no longer hurt. Although the skin was white and loose as if it wanted to form blisters, it never did. I was very blessed in that the skin remained intact the first couple days. If it would have been an open burn my way of treating it would no doubt have burned badly. The dry/fried spots became pliable again and the loose spots re-adhered to the flesh, waiting till later to peal off. In 1 month's time it had healed very nicely. I have no scars. I am so thankful for God's wonderful healing plants. There are a number of high quality natural healing products available today. Sometimes what works for one person will not work for another. I hope this will work for you but we don't know until you try it. I have it available in two sizes: The .75 oz. is a nice size for your purse or truck or just for trying it out. The 4 oz. is a great price when you're sure you like it, especially for those who will be using it a good bit. Please check out my other listings as well. I have a number of all natural skin care products available. I generally check emails at least 2 times a day (except not on Sunday), so I generally will get back with you promptly.
