High Wheel Bicycle Welded Wire (Wrought Iron) Sculpture For Wall Installation Inside Or Outside--This is a large wire sculpture of the old high wheel bike so popular around the start of the 20th century. It can be displayed inside or outside and looks very good close to brick and concrete surfaces. It can affix to a masonry wall by means of bolts or large screws and remain very stable. Attached in this fashion it stands out from the wall about six inches. It measures 21 in. long, about 5.5 in deep and 20 inches tall, it can be displayed higher on the wall and still capture attention. It is a good atmosphere builder even in a bar or restaurant. Outside it can be used in lawn or garden bed applications if stabilized with an in-ground pole. Additional Infor: This was an estate rescue and had been displayed over a garage door. It had some surface rusting. I cleaned the wire and re-coated it with a combination primer/rust inhibitor black paint. The wooden bicycle seat was left as is but the buttons around the seat show the rusty condition. The wood is aged and adds an antique look to the sculpture.
