Descripción del Artículo

The 7th Hole at Pebble Beach by Noble Powell III Signed #'d 91/200 Lithograph Up for your consideration is this hard to find print of the 7th Hole at Pebble Beach that is signed and numbered. Measures approx. 22.5" x 18.5". It looks like there was some moisture on the back at one time and the print is a little wavy if you lean the print at the right angle..I doubt you'd notice it on the wall..The frame also has some wear, gives it character.. About the artist- Noble Powell III An artist?s world is a special place where emotions coexist with the realities of life. When this manifests itself on paper or canvas, we are given a personal invitation by the artist to share the experience. Fortunately, Nobel Powell?s world includes the game of golf. Drawing on his love the ?the game?, his appreciation of natures landscapes and his unparalleled sense of color and design, Noble creates dramatic paintings of the most famous golf landscapes in the world. One of the most intriguing aspects of his style, is the manner in which Powell draws the viewer into the scene, making them feel that they are an integral part of the setting. His original paintings, embellished giclees on canvas and limited edition lithographs have been enthusiastically received in Europe, Japan, Australia as well as the United States. He has numerous national and regional awards and his ?One Man Shows? have earned him a dedicated following by those who appreciate a consummate artisan. Nobel Powell III has become one of the most recognized names in the world of sports art today. Noble was commissioned by the Pebble Beach Company to create a series of images of the world famous Pebble Beach Golf Links as well as the Links at Spanish Bay; he?s also produced a print series of the Augusta National Golf Club, site of the annual Masters Tournament. British Open venues Turnberry in 1994 and St. Andrews in 1995 as well as Riviera, site of the 1995 PGA Championship, add to the diversity of his body of work. He more recently completed a series of paintings of Pinehurst No.2 and No.8. Impressed by the quality of his work, Pinehurst commissioned Noble to create an additional painting of world famous No.2, site of the 1999 U.S. Open. The painting became the centerpiece for their official poster commemorating the event. Mr. Powell has been painting professionally for 30 years. Born and raised in California, he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Santa Barbara Art Institute, a Masters in Fine Arts from California State University Long Beach and a Certificate in Commercial Art from the University of California at Santa Barabara. In May of 2004, Mr. Powell was recognized as one of the most prominent golf artists in the world with his selection to the ?Academy of Golf Art? as a Founding Member. A must have for any collection!
