Descripción del Artículo

We believe this set to be Swedish or Scandinavian in origin. A piece of paper included seems to indicate it was made or purchased around 1930. The box it comes in provides potential clues as to store where it was purchased. The word STAHL is on the gilded part of each piece and translated from German and Swedish means STEEL. The handles on each are marked 833 which was a standard for Sterling Silver in both Europe and Scandinavia in the early 1900s. The case that they were secured in fits the two piece set and is imprinted with ?I. Tyselius? (name of jeweler who presumably sold the set) from Stockholm Sweden. The address appears below. A search for this jeweler yielded information that they may have been in business between 1926-1942. The last photo shows a handwritten note that indicates it may have been a gift from one family member to another in 1934. The fish serving fork is 10 inches long and the serving knife is 11 inches long. See photos. Will ship USPS with tracking to winning buyer
