Two happy little Buddhas dating from the 1950's or no later than the early 1960's. They have a short cord on them and probably were sold to children for bracelets. Just over an inch tall. Scarce item to find in America, at the time these were made there likely were no more than a few thousand Buddhists total in the entire country, and few on the East Coast. However there have been Asian import and gift shops for some time and these came from the basement of just such a place.
