This quirky unique tureen is like no other! With the lid, the dish turns into an oyster with a fish swimming across it. Without the lid, the bowl stands 4 3/4 inches. It is 12 inches in diameter. With the lid, at its highest point, the dish is 10 inches. The piece is textured and feels quite satisfying to run one's fingers along the fishes body and over the oyster shell. The piece weighs 5 lbs, 11 oz when the lid is on. The only blemishes are 3 chips at the fishes tail, two chips on the underside of the dish, where they cannot be seen, and a few tiny chips along the rim. Please see photos.
