Vintage Murano Glass cranberry art glass bowl with a myriad of silver mica flakes. Original label on bottom reads, "Genuine Venetian Glass. Made in Murano, Italy." Measures approximately 6.75" across, and weighs 1 lb., 5 ounces. Condition: Excellent condition. Comments: Venetian glass is a type of glass object made in Venice, Italy, primarily on the island of Murano. It is world-renowned for being colorful, elaborate, and skillfully made. Many of the important characteristics of these objects had been developed by the thirteenth century. Toward the end of that century, the centre of the Venetian glass industry moved to Murano.
