A rolling landscape can be seen to the right, with trees to the left. Diana's hair is up, secured loosely with ribbons and pearls, locks of loose hair falling over her shoulders. Diana Crosbie (née Sackville), Viscountess Crosbie (1756 - 1814) was the wife of 2nd Earl of Glandore and daughter of 1st Viscount Sackville. Diana attracted a fair share of criticism as a young woman and had a reputation for gambling and debt, one which was shared by the similarly controversial Duchess of Devonshire.
