This is an ORIGINAL VINTAGE PAIR of DIAMOND MABE PEARL COCKTAIL EARRINGS that was made during the 1950s from 14K WHITE GOLD. These earrings have the look and feel on platinum so were surprised that the acid test revealed 14K gold. These earrings are clip earrings, but the clips do not function as they should, they are too loose and the earrings will fall off unless you have very fat lobes. I think they would make great cocktail rings! The earrings are set with 108 SINGLE CUT DIAMONDS in the G-H-I color range and SI clarity range that weigh approx. 3.20 ctw. These diamonds are VERY SPARKLY, EYE-CLEAN and without black carbon inclusions. The earrings are detailed with 2 MABE PEARLS that have a silvery overtone.
