Formerly in the inventory of an Asian gift shop in Philadelphia which closed about thirty years ago, and this was vintage at that time already. Probably sixties, it is new unsold old stock. Figure made to look like ivory or bone, the base made to look like wood but I think both are plastic. The entire small piece about 3 5/8" tall. I like the way the shadow came out in the feature photo. We have multiples so you may not get the one used for the photo but they are all the same.
