This listing is for a vey unique vintage carved Wood Shadowbox Hanging Shelf. The silhouette shape with arrow head corners and fancy edge work is very unusual and eye catching. The frame edges are carved with palm trees and sun's rays and huts. I'm not sure of the species of wood, but it has a walnut or chestnut type look. I've listed this as 3 tier,, as you can see the three tiers are split into an interesting array of spaces. The condition is good, no damage or cracks, the corners are tight.. The finish is old and could be used as is or can be cleaned with a wood refinisher. The entire size is 21 x 17 inches, that is corner to corner outside measurement. 3" is the average width of the frame margins,(carved wood edges) The depth is a little over 2.75" The inner opening size is approx 15.5 x 11.5 inches The two bottom rectangular spaces are approx 7.5 x 3.5 inches the top long opening is approx 15.5 x 3.5 , each bottom piece is approx 7" the middle boxes are approx 3" , 8" and 3" long and just under 3.5" high.
