Very funky modernist pin or brooch here! It is signed JH (or possibly JK) which is listed in books as an unattributed mark prior to 1948. It is a modernist take on either a floral pattern or possibly a hand; maybe even a fire. It?s abstract design is extremely desired and in vogue! It is accented with crushed up rock/gem inside the ferns or fingers of the design that are a green or blue (or brown) depending on the angle. It?s like dark green turquoise if such a thing existed. This is a truly one of a kind item! It is about 2 inches long and wide at its longest and widest and weighs 13.6 grams.
