Vintage Seahorse Sea Horse Clear Rhinestones Gold Tone Brooch Pin Ocean Creature Dragon Serpent Goldtone Gold Tone Metal Green Stone Eye Multi Color Multicolor Crown Collar Dimensional Costume Jewelry Designer Figural Hattie Carnegie? This is a gorgeous vintage designer Seahorse brooch or pin. The elaborate figural brooch is embellished with clear rhinestones and a multicolor rhinestone collar in the shape of a crown at the neck. It has a green rhinestone eye. There are gold toned triangular shaped scale accents in the body. This brooch is unsigned; I have seen it listed on other sites as a Hattie Carnegie design, but I can't state for certain that it is created by her. I have also seen a similar brooch that was marked “Geoffrey/Kramer/Beene”, but that had little turquoise beads with blue round rhinestones on the collar, which was the opposite direction that this crown collar. I have also seen one marked KUO, but the crown collar was upside down and the quality was not the same, it appeared to be a replica. Whoever made this one, the brooch is stunning and very high quality. This brooch is in excellent vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. The rollover clasp works just fine. Please look at the photos as they are part of the description and show the details better than I can describe. It measures approximately 2 inches tall and 1 inches wide. This would be perfect for anyone who collects figural jewelry. If you are a lover of Seahorses, this is for you.
